The European Winter Conference on Brain Research (EWCBR) has a long and successful history. First organized in 1981 by Stylianos Nicolaïdis together with colleagues and friends, the conference was intended to be the European counterpart of the by then already popular winter conferences in North America. The concept of the conference is to combine excellent science focused on different topics of neuroscience with the pleasures of winter sport activities among friends and colleagues. As already the old Greek knew: “A sane spirit in a sane body”.
Overall, the success of over 30 years convinces us that this initiative will continue in the future to insure an excellent promotion for the neurosciences. You are cordially invited to submit a symposium proposal and/or to register as participant to this event. We are sure that you will never want to miss this highlight of the winter season again.
Best wishes, and see you soon!
